LADMA – THE FILMS
Pet Hates (2007) – 3 mins
Parody of Channel Four’s celebrity idents. Come soak yourself in a steaming hot laugher-bath as a selection of our most colourful and outrageous characters witter on about what gets their respective goats. Just be careful not to drown (get someone to supervise you).

This film won Current TV’s Comedy Competition which means we won a cash prize, an appearance on TV and a commission to make further films for the channel.

Look North! (2007) – 12 mins
The North of England remains one of the world’s greatest enigmas. Little is known about this untamed frontier, but this educational travelogue seeks to unmask the true face of the North. Join the eminent adventurer and traveller Matthew Rainbow-Trout as he presents a raw and candid insight into the workings of the North. Many will be surprised by his findings.
Deep Catalyst (2007) – 12 mins
World famous director Victor Wong (winner of Carling Academy’s Longest Shortest Film and Krauthunst’s Best Coverage of a Beer Festival) returns with his new arthouse film. Deep Catalyst explores the volatile – and often ill-defined – dichotomy between man and woman.

As well as the long-awaited feature, this piece includes insightful comment from the director, sound man and lead actor.

Safe Blokes (2007) – 14 mins

If you need to use the contract that features in the film, you can download a copy from here.

Sebastien Foucault – The Life of a Free Runner (2006) – 7 mins
Sebastien Foucault is the emotional tale of one man’s struggle against his own past. This film won the Jury Prize as part of Brighton Film Festival’s 36 Hour Film Rush. The random prop which Ladma had to incorporate was a typewriter and the random location was ‘under a desk’.
